It reflects the weather/season and is a nice little touch. Handful of new mods I found before installing:Īnimated Seasonal Background - This just animates the little paper doll character window when you view your skills. Sorry for the double post, but now that I have actually installed the game and most of the mods from my list up there, I thought I'd give an update for others who are interested. You can pay 50k at Pierre's for one more row in your backpack. Quite nice if you head in there with, like, 50+ geodes.īigger Backpack - Probably the most controversial suggestion if you're not interested in big gameplay changes, but I find this just so useful, but not OP that I really appreciate it. Hold To Break Geodes - Pairs nicely with Fast Animations, just lets you hold down the geode stack on Clint when breaking geodes to spam through them. Makes it way less stressful setting up where you want your fruit trees because you can always relocate them later if need be. Adds an option at Robin's to transplant trees on your farm to a different spot. Tree Transplant - Another one I really can't live without. Shouldn't actually affect gameplay I believe because most of these animations freeze game time anyway while playing out. Feels weird for it to be so trash when you literally just get it added.įast Animations - Gives a bunch of options for speeding up certain animations in the game to have less downtime. Kind of fun if you fish up some as trash and need to hurry back home before 2 AM.Ĭlean Cellar - Gotta be honest, I just hate the busted up cellar. I didn't like that Joja Cola was just useless, so I gave it less energy and health, but a minor speed buff which I felt was fitting for a presumably caffeinated beverage. Joja Cola Speed Buff - Warning! I actually made this mod and it's my first one, haha. Gives them all a unique and fitting look, love it!Įlle's Kitchen Replacement - I'm just not a huge fan of the default kitchen, and it gives plenty of options for various counter tile colors, appliance colors, even drawer handle colors, lol. Lore-Friendly JojaMart Prices - Makes JojaMart prices actually competitive with Pierre's, and even moreso if you decide to become a member (which actually incentivizes that choice now).īetter Artisan Good Icons - I really like this one if you intend to make a lot of wines and such. Gives villagers tons of new outfits and portraits for all the seasons and all sorts of other occasions like events, being at the beach, etc. Seasonal Villager Outfits - Huge addition, in my opinion. So there! Always looking for more mods that expand dialogue/characters or add places to explore. Wind Effects - I really want this as it looks great but players are saying it doesn't work with 1.5 Less annoying Demetrius - Demetrius is great but some of his dialogue was certainly out of left field. Immersive Festival Dialogue - different dialogue every year at festivalsĪC dig spot - replaces worms with Animal Crossing spot Mods I dknow if they work since they are quite out of date and have no comments proving/disproving as such: George and Evelyn expanded - More dialogue for the elderly couple There is also sister mods that add seasonal clothing or beach wear.ĭialogue Emotes - little emote bubbles over villager heads when their portrait changes to match. Like Harvest Moon/Rune Factory but not overly anime. Ohodavi's villager portraits - Love the look of these. MissCoriel's various additional music packsĬider Press - make fruit into cider instead of just wine Immersive Characters series by tenthousandcats Stardew Aquarium - New area with the titular building for fish donationĪll the mods that animate sprites by Gervig91 More Grass - base mod needed for a few other mods that just add different plants around Sit N' Relax - stamina regen and when sitting and ability to sit placesĬolored Seeds - colors seed packets based on season they growĭynamic Night Time - Night is gradual and adds dawn/duskĮlle's Seasonal Buildings - Building retextures Lookup Anything - Essentially an in-game wikiĭaisyNiko's Earthy Recolor and accompanying "darker shade" recolors for paths/fences Just do a quick ctrl f to see if your recommendation is already here: Here is the list I compiled so far.haven't even started installing anything yet. I am less interested in very drastic gameplay changes. Especially mods that add to that "new game" experience that really expand the game and flesh out characters/settings. I already have a list, but I am looking for recommendations that people have to add to it. Along with all the base updates I also get to enjoy the now well-developed modding scene that has some great stuff out there. I am really looking forward to hopping back into Stardew for the 1.5 update, especially when it has been a very long time since I last played.
